I am very interested in hearing opinions about the performance of all chess programs discussed here- be them positive or very critical, whether they are freeware or shareware, and whether they are written by a college professor or a plumber, the president of the United States or my neighbour's wife, be it a nice fellow or an a**hole. This is a computer chess discussion board. It's not a forum for bullying anyone you don't agree with, making false accusations or using double standards in juging programs. It's also not to be reduced to an applause machine for any programmer or producer of chess software, be it the commercials or bare amateurs. Recently we have seen some very interesting discussions about testing programs and program strenght, especially Crafty. I'm looking forward to continuation of those kinds of discussions. Besides that I think your message is denigrating to Bob Hyatt, who repeatedly showed to be very capable of telling the world how *he* thinks about it. The reason why you do it, raises sympathy, but it misses the point of this message board altogether. Jeroen ;-}
