Hey Jerry, Chris Carson has gathered a lot of games between computer programs and human players. The result suggest that some of the top programs on the SSDF list don't perform according to their SSDF rating, even though the sample size is to small to make any conclusions AFAIK. I hope that you would agree that the 2700+ rating of Fritz6 on a K6-2 450Mhz computer sounds sligtly exaggerated. My personal opinion is, that no human player with a rating exceeding 2350, or maybe even less, should be afraid to play against that configuration. Best wishes... Mogens
