What's the angle? > >Ed Well, let me take a stab at this. 12...gxf5 trades a wing pawn for a centre pawn. 12...gxf5 breaks up White's pawn centre, and enhances Black's central control. 12...gxf5 increases the scope of Black's queen bishop. This post was a few days old by the time I saw it... I presume you've looked at it more closely by now. Do other eval factors also help to explain it? Dave
