Under Winboard it may be easier to see the differences as both engines are shown in Taskinfo2000. But running Comet v Crafty 1 hour match I get differences of 12% in % CPU and 5% for LT % CPU. With Comet (white) taking the most. I just reversed them Crafty white and see smaller differences 8% CPU. Though I like this Taskinfo2000 it's pretty cool. Thanks.
