NPS is almost useless, I think.
Consider the NPS figure for Diep verses the NPS figure for Little Goliath Gold.
The programs are fairly similar in ability and one will be "a thousand times
faster" than the other.

Plies per minute is a more useful figure, but everyone defines plies differently
also.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.  How does your program fare against
other programs or humans?  That's what counts.
