There is no real preference for any of the 4 possible choices. If your program chooses any of them, it is doing well. Less than 1/2 pawn separates all of the choices which is "well within experimental error." The somewhat controversial position: [D] 2rqk2r/pb1nbp1p/4p1p1/1B1n4/Np1N4/7Q/PP3PPP/R1B1R1K1 w k - bm Rxe6 Qd3 Nxe6 Bh6; id "CCC-I No.1"; Long time analysis of the four options *after* trying one of the choices: [D] 2rqk2r/pb1nbp1p/4p1p1/1B1n4/Np1N4/3Q4/PP3PPP/R1B1R1K1 b k - acd 15; acn -1338476902; acs 30001; ce 6; pv a6 Bxa6 Bxa6 Qxa6 Ra8 Qc6 O-O Bh6 Re8 Red1 Ne5 Qc2 Bg5 Bxg5 Qxg5 Rac1 Red8; id "CCC-I No.1 after Qd3"; [D] 2rqk2r/pb1nbp1p/4p1pB/1B1n4/Np1N4/7Q/PP3PPP/R3R1K1 b k - acd 14; acn -1849201082; acs 10001; ce -20; pv a6 Bf1 Bf6 Rad1 Ne7 Nb3 Qc7 Rd2 Nf5 Rc1 Qd8 Nac5 Nxh6 Rxd7; id "CCC-I No.1 after Bh6"; [D] 2rqk2r/pb1nbp1p/4N1p1/1B1n4/Np6/7Q/PP3PPP/R1B1R1K1 b k - acd 16; acn -1679008274; acs 10000; ce 22; pv fxe6 Qxe6 a6 Bxa6 Bxa6 Qxa6 Ra8 Qc4 N7f6 Bh6 Kf7 b3 Re8 Bg5 Rc8 Qe2; id "CCC-I No.1 after Nxe6"; [D] 2rqk2r/pb1nbp1p/4R1p1/1B1n4/Np1N4/7Q/PP3PPP/R1B3K1 b k - acd 14; acn -1712846349; acs 10001; ce 3; pv fxe6 Nxe6 Qa5 Bxd7+ Kxd7 Nec5+ Ke8 Qd7+ Kf7 Nxb7 Rc7 Nd6+ Kg7 Qe6 Bxd6 Qxd6 Re8 Bg5 Kg8; id "CCC-I No.1 after Rxe6"; From crafty's opinion, they would rank Bh6, Rxe6, Qd3, Nxe6 in order of preference, but it would be silly to tag any of them 'wrong' at this point. My opinion: It's not a very good test position. There may be additional moves that are just as good, since it is a very quiet position. I think that test positions should be decisive.
