I've read some information regarding the Dutch Chess Championships on the chess pages of the Danish IM Steffen Pedersen. Here it says that Van Der Sterrens refusal to play against Fritz at the Dutch Championships is not only costing him a point, but there's also going to be a different prize range for the players that refuse to play. So if you want to recieve money from the large pool of cash you have to make a move and resign instead of refusing to play. Is that really true? I can't remember if it the allocation of prize money have been mentioned here. SÃncerely, Mogens Chr. Larsen
