Sounds like that you have a 'standard version' of VC++. It is strange that 'standard version' doesn't have optimizer in it. but that's life. -Ox, or -O2 will do nothing for you in this case. If you do have a standard version, then you have to upgrade to at least professional version. Regards Ren.
