It will not be much longer when Fritz and friends can beat GM's at long time controls and eventually the best humans can do is a draw. I think at some point there is a cutoff for computers vs. human tournaments. I agree with you that it is still to early to cut it off. For example Rebel vs. Smyslov. Mr. Smyslov was winning and almost found the win and if you saw his picture, you would honestly say, he has one foot in the grave. So if he can do it why can't the young GM's ??
