I'm glad you point this out. This has often been underestimated, indeed. :)

I don't want to be harsh with my fellow programmers, so I'm not going to give
any name here. ;)

Yes, the GUI will be improved. I cannot say exactly what is going to be changed,
as I'm not working on the GUI myself. Maybe Ed or Lex will answer.

You can also expect a major new feature in the program, but I cannot say more
right now.

Also, the engine will be improved in the following way:

1) I have worked to make the engine even better in the area it is already good
at. The engine will be faster in NPS. This comes from rewritting half of the
engine. The search algorithms have been improved, meaning better tactics and
less positional holes. The result is a more solid engine.

2) I'm working to make the engine better in areas where it is lacking. And I'll
not tell you what these areas are. But I can tell you there is a lot to do!!! :)

3) Book and book learning will be significantly enhanced.


It's difficult for me to say more. First because I cannot explain what I have
done, step by step, and second because the work is not over yet.
