I recently went to the Dutch Championship website (which is inaccessible at the I post this so forgive me for any incorrect information) and it sais that the event started the 8th and ends the 19th. My question is how the winner is to be declared, is it the one with the most points at the end of all the rounds or is there a playoff between the top 2,4, or other?? And what happens in the event of a tie. I am also a bit unsure about the difference between a Node and a Ply. A ply is a half-move, according to some place I read, if that is so, then what is a Ply? Thanks in advance.
