25 Min. per game in Pentium II 400
GUI Chessbase Fritz
Standard book
64 hash tables.

Sorry for the table. I have not been able to put it in a more readable way!. :-)

Some comments (with the obvious limitation of a tournament with only 90 games
played at 25 min./game) based in my feelings about the programmes:

- I used Crafty 16.18 because it is the latest Crafty I have in the CBase
environment.

- At this level of play SOS has proven to be an excellent program. It hasn't
lost any of its billateral matches against first class opponents. Its style of
play is very attractive and it plays also very well the endgames.

- The versions of Gromit and Phalanx are strong enough to have win opportunities
against the strongest programs. I enjoy very much the Phalanx style of play:
aggresive and 'intuitive'. It scored excellent results against Fritz and Hiarcs.

- Ikarus was another nice surprise. My feeling is that this program is stronger
than what the final result shows.

- Finally Patzer was very 'unlucky' in some games. Anyway it seems to be a small
step below the other young talents.

Regards.
