He didn't say that van Wely played a weak game, but just the opposite. If you remove the free points from van der Sterren and Bosboom when the tournament is over, then it'll be more obvious whether Fritz has GM strength or not. Even though a claim that Fritz has GM strength due to this tournament alone is complete baloney IMHO. It looks more like a strong IM or a weak GM to me. Sincerely, Mogens
