REBEL 9.0 installation (fix)
A few users (< 1%) reported problems running Rebel9 after installation.
After 10 headaches and 300 km driving to a customer with this specific
problem we were able to understand the problem and to make a little fix
program which can be downloaded from the Rebel Home Page at:
http://www.rebel.nl/download/fix.zip
Since a week we moved to a better server at:
HTTP://WWW.REBEL.NL
For people with an old browser we kept the old URL:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~rebchess/
Both sites are completely mirrored.
So if you have an old browser and want to download the little fix
program
you should type (or click on):

DESCRIPTION
The program FIX.EXE is meant for those REBEL 9.0
users who after installing REBEL 9.0 on their harddisk
received the message on a gray screen:
"Program aborted. Install again ..."
During installation a necessary file has not been copied
correctly. This program will fix that.
HOW TO RUN FIX.EXE
- Be sure to have your original REBEL 9.0 CD-Rom in your
CD-Drive
- It's doesn't matter if you run FIX.EXE from your harddisk
or from your floppy disk
- Run FIX.EXE and type the letter of your CD-drive when
you're asked to
- Now go to your REBEL 9.0 directory or click on the REBEL
icon and run REBEL!
