Shredder's operator was Mr. Rami Tal.
Stefan, as far as I know Rami was very instrumental in opposing my initiative
to include chess programs in the Israeli league. This is not to say he lost
on purpose (I can't prove that) but to point out that the acceptance of our
breed is far from being automatic. In fact, I'm much concerned whether this
unique phenomena will continue for the next season. Many of the players are
of course complaining. Add to that notorious FIDE, that according
to its new ruling will not rate all of the league games if we are allowed in.
If anyone has some proactive ideas as of how to resolve
the situation please post them....
At any rate losing in such a position is just outrageous..
