It would help if the subject lines are kept *SHORT* (I have 800*600, but I think some don't even fit into 1024*768). Furthermore, when the subject is changed in the reply, this results in a thread split when the first posting(s) are outdated and put at the other page. It would help also, if not always the complete previous discussion is quoted in a reply. Sometimes I scroll 3 screens downward to see one or two new lines. The functionality Peter suggests, would be similar to news reader programs or Outlook Express, where a thread is inflated to one line, and can be ignored etc. There are various web forum programs, but I'm not sure if one of them is really better than our's.
