Hi, I have written a new version of my auto232 tools to use the new extended auto232 protocol and Stefan Meyer Kahlen's code to connect programs via named pipes in Windows 2000/NT. This package contains experimental versions of my older programs: - tcb : this is essentially the same engine as before. Please do not use this version in tournaments or to assess TCB's strength since it has not been optimized and tested well. Use it only to test the new auto232 capabilities. - wbengine : this is a tool that allows winboard engines to play against an auto232 opponent. I also wrote a new tool, a232engine, that does the same as wbengine, but for auto232 engines. It should allow you to connect an auto232 engine to an internet chess server via winboard. You can get it from my home page: http://www-leibniz.imag.fr/~coulom Remi
