I don't share that view. I think you're trying to humanize a piece of software
to defend its rights.

I don't think that is true, but who knows.

You may be right, but programmers shouldn't be allowed to determine the
assumptions alone. I think you're advocating that they should be allowed to
decide everything. I oppose that viewpoint.
