In this variant I think that white have good chances of win,
playng 3. R1c6!, not 3. Ne5:
1. Rc7 Nxf6 2. exf6 Qa3 3. R1c6! Kd8 4. Ne5 a5 5. Rd7+ Ke8 6. Rcc7 a4 7. Re7+
