Which GMs will have a benefit of computer participation? I am surprised, that there are no voices of GMs, who welcome computer at tournaments. I don't refer to the common arguments: more publicitiy and a better prices. No, I think that there are GMs, who will play - RELATIVELY to their general playing strength - a better score against engines than against the other human participants. The reasons could be: experience in (anti)-computer-chess, a very positional style, knowledge about chess structures, which cannot be calculated by engines, less psychological tension against engines than against frightening opponents... These GMs should have a benefit of engine participation in a round robin tournament. Mathematically, if the ELO of all competitors and of the engine is comparable high, the half of the players should advocate for engine participation, - those, who could estimate a RELATIVE advantage. Why are they quiet? Peter Schneider
