This position is from the israeli league and my analysis showed that it is mate
in 12 (chessmaster could see mate in 17 after 17 minutes and 26 seconds)

solution 1...Qxh2+ 2.Kxh2 Rh6+ 3.Kg3 Ne2+ 4.Kg4 Rf4+ 5.Kg5 Rhh4 6.Qxf8+ Kxf8
7.g4 Rh3 8.Nf5 Nxg1

chessmaster6000(ss=10) found this line after only 7 minutes and 35 seconds with
evaluation of mate in 15(It is mate in 13)

chessmaster shows thinking line and I could see that it used most of the time
for the line 1...Qxh2+ 2.Kxh2 Rh6+ 3.Kg3 Ne2+ 4.Kg4 Rf4+ 5.Kg5 Rhh4 but
chessmaster needs more time to see it.

I posted this position a long time ago.

Ne8 is mate in 10
chessmaster(ss=10) needed only 9 seconds on pentiumIII450 to see the forced mate

I am interested to know if there is an improvement in chess programs and if
there are chess programs that can compete with chessmaster in finding checkmates
in the middlegame.
