On a German University, Copernicus studied there I believe, they have managed to achieve recognition with thought only, so things are developing at a fast pace. With a few weeks of practice you should be able to control your brain cells sufficiently to make a computer understand the difference between two states, positive or negative. Thereby making it possible to write by halving the alphabet succesively. It's mostly aimed at people, who are completely paralyzed and unable to communicate with anything but eyemovement.
