Maybe this is stupid but I thought that, even if the program does predict the right move it still helps by filling hashtables with positions that could really appear with the move really played. Is that completely wrong ? If this is right then it is interesting to focus on one move like crafty does. If this move is played then the search is boosted with chances to over-calculate the opponent, if not there are still big chances that some generated hash entries save time in the next search. Ujecrh
