Unfortunately you use the wrong program for mate attacks.
Crafty is the wrong program to analyze positions when the king is in trouble.

Chessmaster6000 is the right program.

Chessmaster6000(ss=10) found in less than 2 minutes that Bxh2+ wins more than a
piece.
after 7 minutes and 55 seconds the evaluation is 5.45 pawns advantage for black
and the main line begins with Bxh2+ Kf1 Rxe3 fxe3 Qxe3

Chessmaster6000 found Bxh2+ in 3 seconds and changed its mind for Qg4 and after
1:56 it changed its mind again to Bxh2.
