yes , for such a short statement I had really amazingly many logical mistakes in
it :-)

One for example is that the linear graph only happens at higher depths , or the
mixing up of ply and time :-)

The only thing that still seems true to me is my intuition .

After thinking a little longer I am pretty sure that pondering should help
definitely _more_ in blitz games than in standard games but before trying to
prove I take a little more time to back this up to avoid stupid logic this time
.
