I can't speak for anyone else, but as a speaker of American English, who grew up in Iowa, Louisiana, and Illinois, I find Josh Waitzkin perfectly understandable. Admittedly, his delivery is somewhat rushed and monotonous. However, rather than searching for the English dialect most intelligible to foreigners, it might make more sense to have optional sound sets in other languages. If you're willing to pay for it, it will happen. Who would you like for the Spanish version? Personally, I long ago turned off any talk features in the progams I have; Junior 6, Fritz 5, and CM6000 have been silent in my house for a long time. It's bad enough that they beat me so regularly; I don't want to hear them talk.
