You write them a check and you mail it to England.  The only hard part is
figuring out you can do this, and once you figure it out, figuring out how much
postage to put on the envelope.  I think it would be hard for them to make it
less confusing without having a paragraph specifically for Americans who are in
a hurry and don't want to read carefully (that's me).

They have a $US account or something, they can handle funds drawn on American
banks.  You write them a check just like you'd write one to the phone company.
