Here are some positions in FEN that are not often evaluated correctly by programs I have looked at. My apologies for not making the tests easier to run. It is partly because I have no experience writing the test files and because in most cases there is not a single move to look for, rather it is an idea that must be understood. For example in the first position below the game is dead drawn and I believe should be evaluated very close to 0.00. There is no way for white to make any progress. I am interested in knowing how various programs evaluate the positions and the best lines of play they give. Since I suspect that most programs will not understand the position regardless of the time allowed please set the time to infinite and report when the program has stabilized.
