Good Dos advise,  but there is no need to rename it, that would be a wasted (but
not harmfull) step.  Crafty can compile a book from a .txt file that contains
the pgn format.  You could compile a book from a pgn file named "enourmos.xyz"
if you wanted.

Crafty's not concerned with the name of the file, just what's in it.
