I beleived that to be the case with me about 7-8 years ago, and I think I could
have had great success. But now, even though computers are much better, it's too
much of a known fact. You can't fool anyone anymore. And you yourself can't
expect many pushovers in a correspondence tournament since ANYONE can give you a
tough game with a simple unedited junior 6a or fritz 6a etc.and will.
 I think that 8 years ago one could have been rewarded quite well from
consulting computer programs, as the assistance they could provide was a bit
more imho than what the public was aware of. Used creatively-of course.
