Thorsten Czub has phoned me. Round 6 was started at around 9:00 Paris time. Preliminary results are: Junior-CSTal 1-0 ( CSTal had some attack, but Junior was searching to deep and turned the attack around ) Stobor - Shredder 0-1 ( Stobor is running on a K6-200, and operated by an older man from Germany ( Mr. Kratz(?) ) who is visitor of the WMCCC and has already operated for instance NOW in a Paderborn tournament Hydra - TheCrazyBishop 1-0 Kallisto - Capture 1-0 Ananse - Isichess 0-1 ( Ananse had even play for long time but than tried some "intuitive" exchange sacrifice which backfired; yester day Ananse had also lost -- so still 0 points; but Walter Banermann is still optimistic ... ) Fritz - Gandalf still running, both queens still on board, drawish ( same procedure as every WMCCC ... ) Crafty - Virtual Chess endgame evaluations VC +5.08, Crafty -5.2 ( so VC might win ) XXXX - Dark Thought about even Ferret - Toledo2000 Ferret displays +1.04 pawn units; Toledo is standing under pressure, but position not hopeless yet. MChess - Arthur MCP thinks +0.91 Technochess - Patzer Patzer evaluates about +7 pawn units Diep - Goliath +8 thinks Diep ; ( Vincent has a slight smile on his face, says Thorsten )
