I think another big help to beginners is a slightly improved price for back
issues.  Although the current rates are fair, to be honest, there is still a
large startup cost to get most of the often sited articles in the Journal. It
would take an initial investment of ~$450 dollars not counting the current
subscription.  How about a package deal for 'all of it' or 'most of it' much
like the 10% discount for more than 10 back issues.
