Interesting thread. I do not have any data
on Hiarcs 7.32. Wish I did, it should be a
stronger program than Hiarcs 6. A second
comment is that Hiarcs 6 achieved it's performance
rating on a 350 MHZ machine. It would be interesting to
see a 6 to 10 game tournament performance against
several GM's (not match) for Hiarcs 7.32 (or Shredder,
Deep Junior, Fritz (multi version), Rebel or CM) using
a 1 GHZ (or 4x 1GHZ by Deep Junior or Fritz multi). I am
sure we would see another 50 to 70 point increase in
Performance Rating, unless there was a hardware problem, operator error,
or mis-configuration error. To bad Harvard Cup and Aegeon is
not still around, ofcourse, they would need to have the
games at 40/2 tournament time controls (Aegeon was close, but
not quite there).

Just one more observation. I think that Shredder is 100 points
underrated on my list due to a possible loss by an operator in the
last ISR2000 match. I have no way to be sure, just my opinion. :)

Best Regards,
Chris Carson
