Hello In ETN (December 12 1999) Steve Lopez writes on Fritz 6: "REFUELING No refueling. It's gone. Forget about it. Don't use your Fritz6 CD as a drink coaster, though. Files do get corrupted, hard drives do crash, and you will need the CD again someday."... Not someday, my Fritz 6 asks CD almost everyday. On account of a free CD driver and taking care of my original CD in a reliable place, I want to use "Virtual Drive". But there is some unreadable data in Fritz 6 (such as in General.cty). Thus, Virtual Drive is useless. I take a backup of "F6.ini". When Fritz 6 asks CD, I use this backup. My question is: To take care of my CD, is there a way more practical, as changing paramaters? (In F6.ini, there are some counting parameters such as "life".) Best regards M. Cihat Can
