Subject: Learning from a Endgame Database you create

Hello All
It should be possible to create a database in Fritz or Chessbase, with the
layouts of say an endgame position or a tactical shot, and u take the favorable
side and play against the machine to win.
How does one accomplish this? I have noticed that Fritz 6 has something called
"Layout", which is used as an extention when saving the layout. But I am not
sure how it works.
Also I have noticed that in Chessbase that you have to keep pressing the
spacebar for it to make the move. Is it not possible to make it take one side
while you play the other.

All I am looking for is a best way to save a current position of a chessboard to
a database where i take a white side and let the black side be played by fritz.
This way I can keep going back to this database and keep refreshing what i
learned by making the moves on the board.

I would like to get any feedback about it.

Thanks in advance,
Riaz.
