Here is a little tournament between The Young Talents CD, Crafty 17.10 and Comet
B20. Now that B22 is out I may just run it through the list??
The Rate of play was 40mins Blitz for each program.
Two machines were used.
Celeron 500. From 64 to 128meg of ram, on both machines
AMD K6-450
For details of hash and book, you will have to go through the pgn file. So if
you would like to see it, ask, I will zip and send!
There is a date prob in the pgn file because the Cel 500 had a crash. I cut and
pasted the year 2000 in, using word pad, so the year is correct. The month and
day will be out? The Cell 500 is back and working OK.
THIS WAS A FUN EVENT? Please, don't take this too seriously? It does not
contain enough games to form an opinion as to the real strenths of these fine
programs? I am sure if it were played again, the results may be different.
I have not been though the games. I am sure if anyone does, and finds anything
amiss, I will hear of it in due course!!
