I just installed Fritz 6 on my computer a short while ago, and I must say I can't find anything I like about it. I don't know what was so wrong with Fritz 5.32 that they had to do this to it. Among other things: 1. The chatter is horrible and I can't find a way to shut it up. When I clicked on Chatter, it downsized the board, but the chatter remained. 2. The simple, user-friendly database of Fritz 5 has been replaced by one with a bunch of indecipherable symbols. What was wrong with the old SAVE, REPLACE, LOAD, etc. buttons? 3. No buttons at the bottom of the screen. Instead, you get a bunch of symbols at the top. In short, everything is different and nothing represents any sort of improvement over Fritz 5.32, except (I hope) a stronger engine. Of course, these are just my first impressions, but if I can't figure Fritz 6 out, I'm going to have to send it back to ICD and go back to using Fritz 5.32.
