To be honest, a lot of critic focused on the non windows standard of Fritz 5, with the buttons at the bottom of the screen and strange pop-up menu's, non-scalable windows..... The program is a lot more stable than Fritz under the old GU, and it's not a matter of taste that obeying standard interface rules make a program easier to use. And another "to be honest", as not everything is covered in the (online manual and) accompanying booklet -and some annoying things even left out, the basics are quite easy to find out without manual, due to the standardization; you don't have to be a rocket scientist to find your elementary way around. Some people even decided not to upgrade because of the "lack of new things" in the interface. Maybe you are just a bit impatient - sometimes it helps to browse the manual. Stay put. It's worth the effort. Jeroen ;-}
