Gerry: For every purist computer chess player that hates bells and whistles and gets mad if just a beeps sounds, there is at leats one that like to have all that, at least as an alternative. I like all that, sir, so i will ask you the opposite of what is being asked by my colleagues here: let the sounds and even more, put some additional sounds. Maybe your voice announcing moves or so. If somebody does not like that, he always can put it off. I do not understand people that because they does not like something, then at once ask for an anhilation of the thing they does not like. It is so simple as not putting the bloody thing on, right? Be more democratic, folk, you are not the only peopple living in this world! Fernando
