One problem is book learning, which most folks seems to have. I've been using the same old book for maybe six months. Also, I've noticed everyone seems to be outsearching me by 2-3 ply, esp in std games. I haven't made any significant changes in months (other than timestamp support), just don't have the blocks of time to devote to it. I've got a long "to do" list, but it's just been sitting there. Part of the problem is that I can't think late at night anymore, too old. :( It's a good measure of how much the other fellows have improved, though. Will
