The only reason for different moves that I can imagine(assuming the same engine) is if the parameters of chessmaster7000 have not the same meaning as the parameters of chessmaster6000. It is possible that 100 for mobility in chessmaster6000 means 110 for mobility in chessmaster7000. If this is the case then I am interested to know what is the meaning of the parameters of chessmaster7000. If people discover the meaning of the parameters of chessmaster7000 they can use chessmaster7000 as a personality for chessmaster6000. >So what might be a stronger setting in CM6000 could be weaker or even stronger >in CM7000. I think that there is no reason to use CM7000 for testing when it cannot use more than 1 Mbyte hash tables. When I heard that it has the same engine as CM6000 I decided not to buy it and the fact that it cannot use more than 1 Mbyte is another reason not to buy it. Uri
