You are right, of course. But I don't think that the other posters to this
thread asked me to remove features, they just want the possibility to disable
them. In fact, since the option to disable the sounds is already there, they
would like that this option is working, which is reasonable.

Adding sounds to announce moves would be possible, in fact a user volunteered to
donate wave-files, but it would be difficult to get the German and the English
versions up to date. Maybe in a later version... (How often do you read this?
Know what it means when written by a software developper? :)) )
