DJGPP by the way is a much better deal than that free Borland download, because you'll find many programs that will compile with DJGPP almost instantly, but that's not the case with the Boland comand line compiler. So while the Borland compiler may have some posibilities, you'll probably save yourself some aggrivation by starting with DJGPP. Downside of DJGPP is that it doesn't _really_ compile programs for Winboard the way it is (they only more or less work). Pete
