I actually recommended that some of my friends who didn't want to pay for ICC
try this site, but without a SEEK command I found it difficult and time
consuming to get a game.  The time controls were all game/5 game/10 game/20 etc.

The advantage of not having very many features is that it is easy to learn.
Some of my friends are too computer illiterate to get used to all the commands
on FICS.  This might explain why dreadful sites like Yahoo and MSN are so
popular.
