I don't know about Mr. Zimmermann, but I have used CClient, which is not bad at
all.  I admit it's not as good as Blitzin, but it isn't too far behind.  A
little less intuitive, and the seek graph doesn't seem as clear to me.

I do prefer ICC to FICS, and consider their dues very moderate.  Still, I
suppose that absolutely free does have its attraction.
