I was wrong. 7...Be6 was the best at iteration no 4 (see below), however fails low in iteration 4 and was replaced by another move. On up-to date hardware, iteration no. 4 will complete in far less than 1 second. I overlooked this because time was far too short to even display this move as best on my system. Could it be that comet was heavily paging on your system ? I would guess that your system was short of memory.
