To my knowledge, Christophe Théron had nothing to do with either opening book.
Jeroen Noomen deserves complete credit for the one that comes with the
stand-alone Rebel-Tiger and it is also copyrighted. That IS after all, one of
the advantages of buying the stand-alone. The opening book included in Chess
Assistant 5 is the product of Chess Assistant's team of experts, but has never
been tested in hard competition as done in the SSDF. It is quite large and can
easily be modified to suit your needs, or of course you can make your own (this
is probably true in Rebel-Tiger as well, but someone else would have to
confirm).

For the moment, you must do this manually, but the engine window clearly
displays the times for each new move or ply so it shouldn't be too hard. Just
load the database file (PGN, any CA format, or any CB format) and run one
position at a time.
