I'd have to agree...Palm IIIe and Chess Genius is the only way to go for a portable. I don't know why anyone would want a Calculator style unit. Gotta press several keys to make each move...just try playing a speed game with that!! Of course, I find I prefer the actual look and feel of an actual chess set but the peg sets are just too small. I find the Opal Plus a good compromise with pieces a reasonable size but it doesn't play very strong. What's your rating? David
