Mmmmm, I think I have a better move: just to extend a check about 20.000 bucks
high in exchange for a draw at move 45. If what they tell me of this guy is OK,
the man is greedy and bucks-lover as no one in the circuit.
Jokes aside, I will play the guy with just my most known lines, that is, those
with which I have lost, but also won more games. I will play King Indian if d4
and in that case I will try to freeze the position in both sides, no matter
what. If necesary to delay the defeat, I will launch quality sacrifices. No
sense to think in an "ending". Besides, what a big think would be to sacrifize
against Karpov! If he play e4 I will try the classic closed Ruy Lopez and I will
entrench there until the bitter end. In both cases I will try to pick the most
hard, solid defense I can muster. I know every other thing I could try is doomed
to instant failure. My goal: to lose not before a decent ending or at most at an
almost ending middle game. 50 moves, to give a number. I take this, as a Dann
said, as a free class worthy of 500 buck per hour. And yes, I will put here the
game...if it is decent enough.
Moriture te salutam
Fernando
