In a post 2 min earlier aloysius had just asked about a new version of TSCP. In this context, the reply indicating the difficulty of finding an "in between" program (that is between a competitive program and TSCP, which is not a trivial program either), seems appropriate IMHO. More importantly, I would just like to again acknowledge the contributions of both Bob and Tom. My own efforts owe a lot to both. Finally, despite the apparent friction, I also hope that both will continue to be active participants to the benefit of the entire computer chess community. Brian Richardson
